Keeptrack
Final exhibition at the end of the bursary in Dettinger Park, Plochingen,2019
Beton, chamotte

'In March 2019, in the former millstone foundry of the Dettinger millstone factory (which closed in the 1980s), we see a concrete chain. Construction experts will know that it is difficult to make chains like this on the side. Concrete is a material that wants to flow, and it is claimed that it does not need time. Ignoring its possibilities in construction, concrete is only perceived as staple stock today, whereas the construction industry should remember the forms of the late 1950s and 60s that were inspired by natural, organic forms.' The chain traverses the hall and the time of the studio work in Plochingen. It is a work about that time, but above all, it pays homage to this site.'
